“Cowboys don’t go around breaking hearts” – Missy Lyons…. Gun smoke has taken this statement very seriously in terms of serving their steaks and burgers. If you are looking for some juicy beefy steaks in town in a traditional cowboy style, then Gun smoke is definitely the place to give you an ultimate meaty dine-in experience. Not to mention that Gun smoke is the first ever place in Pakistan to introduce steaks to be served in typical cowboy style where rough and rugged was the entire concept of dine-in. The steaks were served to the visitors as if they were sitting in a countryside cowboy’s pub. They have a sublime architecture with dim lights ambiance and wooden stools and chairs to add to the atmosphere.
Gun smoke has always been my favorite place whenever I intend to have a lavish beefy feast consisting of steaks and sauces. They are the masters of steaks and grilled burgers and their sauces are unmatched in taste and smooth texture. They have a special upgrade of 350 grams’ sheriff’s cut beef piece which is actually 100 grams more than a normal 250 grams serving steak piece. So, if you are a serious meat lover, then Gun smoke has got it all covered for you.
Well, we all know that the steaks are always meant to be beef but there are people who order chicken steak (just forgive me) so I’ll cover both of the flavors in this article to give you an all-rounder review. There is a special menu for single person serving comprising of starters and the main course with a side. We started off with a bowl of soup and a plate full of fresh salad. There are two choices of soups along with a variety of different French breads. The salad bar is vibrant and tempting and is perfect start for the final showdown. I went with my friends and we ordered Blue cheese steak, black peppercorn, and grilled mushroom steaks. Well, all of these steaks met our temptation for some saucy yet meaty steaks and we were just drooling all over the table. The meat was so tender and bursting with flavors and we loved every single bite of it. The fries are served in a bucket to fill the extra exclusive compartment for fries in our stomach.
By the way, I order chicken steaks (pardon me again) when I go out my friends but beef steaks to compliment with my husband. Their beef steaks are considered to be the only true steaks by definition. It’s entirely up to you to order medium or well-done steak. We ordered medium rare that was cooked to perfection. I am really particular about beef being properly cooked so we talked to the manager about the cooking style. Their beef pieces are marinated and slowly grilled in a way to give a crispier outside and a soft and tender inside meat. Cutting such a piece of meat and then dipping in the sauce is a complete satisfaction to our meat cravings.
