Goat Leg Recipe – When Chicken Is Jut Not Good Enough!

One of the lushest and tempting pieces of meat is goat leg which is the most consumed meat in the world. Nutrition-wise, goat leg and its soup works wonder but as per different occasions including shaadi, valima, and aqiqa, we are going to make a roast out of it by some little and easy tricks.

We would start with all the ingredients required.

Ingredients:

  1. Crushed ginger – 4 to 5 spoons
  2. Crushed garlic cloves- 5 to 6 spoons
  3. Green chilies – 4 spoons
  4. Grounded spices – 1 tsp
  5. Salt – 1 tsp
  6. Red chilies – 1 tsp
  7. Oil – 4 to 5 spoons
  8. Lemon juice – 5 to 6 tsp
  9. Yogurt – 4 to 5 spoons

Method:

To set the spices in to the meat you have to poke the leg with the fork and drizzle lemon juice and rub. Leave the leg for 10 minutes and prepare the mixture meanwhile. Mix all the spices in the yogurt and marinate the meat with the mixture prepared. Coat the leg well and let it sit overnight or for 7 to 8 hours at least.

For cooking, fry both the sides of the leg in oil, you don’t need to add anything because the yogurt will leave water which will be enough for the meat to tenderize. Cover the pot and let the meat simmer in it for some time.

Now the main part, some people like it this way and some want the meat to be a bit hard. For which, you need to fry the meat for 2 to 3 minutes more to make it crispy.

Finally before taking out the meat, put 3 to 4 cups of tomato ketchup and cook for another minute
